Kelvin “Shugy” Simon of the United Progressive Party (UPP) has retained his seat in St. Mary’s South constituency, after winning the by-election that was held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. He beat his main rival, Dwayne George of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP), by a margin of 174 votes. Andrew Antonio of the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) came a distant third with only 8 votes.
